সম্প্রতি পদ্মা ব্যাংকের চিফ অপারেটিং অফিসারের দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেছেন সৈয়দ তৌহিদ হোসেন। তিনি সিওও (চিফ অপরেটিং অফিসার) এবং CAMLCO হিসেবে ব্যাংকের অপারেশন্স এবং অ্যান্টি মানি লন্ডারিং ডিভিশন পরিচালনা করবেন।

 গত এপ্রিলে ব্যাংকিং অপারেশন্স ডিভিশনের দায়িত্ব নিয়ে এক্সিকিউটিভ ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট (ইভিপি) হিসেবে পদ্মা ব্যাংকে যোগ দেন সৈয়দ তৌহিদ হোসেন।  সুদীর্ঘ ১৭ বছরের বর্ণিল ব্যাংকিং ক্যারিয়ার তাঁর। ব্যাংক আলফালাহ দিয়ে যাত্রা শুরু করে শেষে তিনি মিউচুয়াল ট্রাস্ট ব্যাংকের হেড অব ব্রাঞ্চ অপরাশন্সের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। এছাড়াও কান্ট্রি অপরেশন্স, কম্পলায়েন্স এন্ড রিকনসিলেশন-সহ বিভিন্ন বিভাগের প্রধানের দায়িত্ব পালনের অভিজ্ঞতা রয়েছে তাঁর।

With the use of this PEI agreement, BDT 5,000 crore would be used to refinance agricultural loans at an interest rate of 4% per annum. This revolutionary program targeted root level farmers (crop, fruits and vegetables), dairy farming, poultry farming as well as fisheries to develop self-subsistent of food all over the country.  Mr. Faisal Ahsan Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO (CC), signed the agreement yesterday on behalf of Padma Bank Ltd. Meanwhile, all Branches of Padma Bank Ltd., depicting path way to Agri finance for all targeted groups.

With this agreement, Padma Bank cardholders shall get special discounts on in & out patient investigations and room rent and priority treatments like air-port pick and drop, admission, relationship managers, accommodations etc. Rokibul Hasan Chowdhury, SVP & Head of Retail & SME Banking, Padma Bank and Shahinur Rahman, country manager of Yashoda Hospitals signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Nafisa Ara, Head of Segments and Tanvir Zaman, Product Manager, Cards were also present at the occasion representing Padma Bank Ltd.

শনিবার পদ্মা ব্যাংক বিডি জবস কর্পোরেট ক্রিকেট লিগ -২০২২ এর  কোয়াটার ফাইনালে মার্কেন্টাইল ব্যাংকের মুখোমুখি হয়। প্রথমে ব্যাট করে মার্কেন্টাইল ব্যাংক ১৮ ওভারে ৭ উইকেট হারিয়ে ১০৩ রান সংগ্রহ করে। ব্যাট করতে নেমে পদ্মা ব্যাংক   ১৬ ওভার এক বলে ৩ উইকেটের  বিনিময়ে লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছে যায়। এর মাধ্যমে পদ্মা ব্যাংক টুর্নামেন্টের দ্বিতীয় দল হিসেবে সেমিফাইনালে তাদের অবস্থান নিশ্চিত করে। ৪০ বলে ৫২ রান করে মাঝহারুল ইসলাম ম্যান অফ দ্যা ম্যাচ নির্বাচিত হন।

কেক কেটে সহকর্মীদের ইংরেজি নববর্ষের শুভেচ্ছা জানান পদ্মা ব্যাংকের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা তারেক রিয়াজ খান। এ সময় তিনি নতুন বছরে কাজের দিক নির্দেশনা দেন এবং পুরনো বছরে সবার অবদানের জন্য ধন্যবাদ জানান পদ্মা ফাইটারদের।

This memorandum of understanding was signed on January 1, 2023, at the ICAB Council Hall, CA Bhaban Dhaka. The bank's Managing Director and CEO, Tarek Reaz Khan and ICAB's Chief Executive Officer, Shubhashish Bose, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organization. During the signing event, Tarek Reaz Khan congratulated the newly appointed President of ICAB, Md. Moniruzzaman FCA, with flowers. Under this MoU, the bank will get the opportunity to verify the updated audit report and audited financial statements submitted by the loan applicant. Besides, there is also an opportunity to verify the authenticity of audited financial reports of various organizations through DVS.
